Scan-first asset management
Asset management that lives in SharePoint and Teams
Scan any asset with any phone. Your register stays in your own SharePoint lists, staff sign in with the Microsoft 365 account they already have, and visitors can report a fault straight from the label.
- Unlimited users and assets, from £595 a year
- A public scan page for faults and returns in every plan
- The core asks for no Microsoft Graph consent

Scan-first
Every label opens on every phone
Each label carries a short web address with a random token, never the SharePoint item ID. That one choice means anyone can scan it, and you decide what they see.
Any phone camera
No app to install. A visitor, pupil or contractor sees the public page with only the fields you choose.
Teams on a phone
Staff scan from Teams and the asset opens with its history, ready to check out, move or update.
A laptop webcam
On the EquipPoint page in SharePoint, hold a label up to the webcam, or take a photo of it as a fallback.
An NFC tag
Write the same address to an NFC sticker or key fob, and a tap opens the same page.
What a scan does
Faults, returns and handovers from the label
Most of what goes wrong with equipment is noticed by someone who is not in IT. EquipPoint lets them tell you, in the moment, from the label.
- Report a fault with a description and a photo. It arrives in your own Reports list, and the photo goes straight from the phone to your SharePoint.
- Found this? Return it. Lost kit gets back to its owner, with the finder's details only if they choose to give them.
- I am staff. One tap into Microsoft 365, where the asset opens in EquipPoint.
- Check out and in to people, rooms or other assets, with due dates, My kit and a handover acknowledgement stored in your library.
Least privilege by design
The web part works with each person's own SharePoint access. The public page uses a separate service app that your administrator grants to four named EquipPoint lists of one register, and nothing else.
Prefer no data to leave your tenant? Switch the register to tenant-only and a scan goes straight to Microsoft 365 sign-in, with nothing read.

PAT, LOLER, PUWER
Next inspection dates on every asset as good practice, shown on the label page if you choose.

Questions people ask first
What is EquipPoint?
An asset management app for SharePoint and Microsoft Teams. It keeps your asset register in SharePoint lists on your own site, gives every asset a QR label that any phone can scan, and adds check-out, acknowledgement, My kit and a public page for fault reports and returns.
Where is my data kept?
In lists and libraries on a SharePoint site in your own Microsoft 365 tenant. The optional public scan page passes reports through our service on their way to your lists and does not keep them.
What does it cost?
From £595 a year for one site, £895 for a site collection, £1,495 for every site in your tenant and £2,495 for Tenant Connected. Unlimited users and assets in every plan; 30% off for schools, trusts and charities.
Do people need an app to scan a label?
No. Any phone camera opens the label. Staff can also scan from Teams or the EquipPoint page in SharePoint.
Is it on Microsoft Marketplace?
